That depends on the area being treated generally once a fortnight to once a month.

You may feel quite relaxed or a little bit out of it. It’s best to drink purified water, at least 3 to 4 glasses, to help ground your energy. Hair Removal
Waxing
What sort of wax do you use?
At Body & Sole Beauty Care we use two different types of wax; Strip wax and Hot wax. Each of these waxes are recommended by Dermatologists and are designed specially for sensitive skins. They are also designed to prevent ingrown hairs, reduce redness and inflammation, reduces discomfort of depilation and encourages fine hair growth. All our waxes are disposable and used under strict hygiene standards.
How often should I get it done?
It can vary for each client and depends on the growth of the client's hair. Generally for body waxing we recommend 4-6 weeks and facial waxing every 4 weeks. Our qualified therapists will be able to advise you on scheduling your follow up appointment.
What are the benefits of waxing?
When the client commits to regular waxing appointments, the hair will become finer, softer and sparser in growth. Your skin will be smoother and softer for longer with no annoying stubble or re-growth the next day. No more razor rash, or cuts, you can finally throw that dangerous razor away forever.
What after care do I need to do?
It is best to avoid sun exposure, solariums, spray tans, swimming pools, spas and saunas, lotions and/or creams, deodorants for at least 24hours to prevent skin irritation. With any bikini waxing especially XXX waxing it is best to wear comfortable cotton underwear to prevent irritation. Before your next waxing appointment it is best not to apply any creams or lotions, as this inhibits effective waxing.
What can I do to prevent ingrown hair?
Using a buffer daily with body wash, and an exfoliant on a weekly basis easily controls ingrown hairs. Also use a body moisturiser to keep skin hydrated and supple after showering or bathing. At Body & Sole we stock professional and therapeutic products, which will assist our clients in prevention of ingrown hairs.

Advanced Skin Treatments
What makes an advanced skin treatment different from a facial?
We use the term Advanced Skin Treatments for a combination of treatments that we are using "hi-tech" equipment or products for. Such as, SilkpeelTM, Ellipse Intense Pulsed Light (I2PL) and T.C. Bio-LaserTM, and Skinceutical Dermaceutical products. All of the avove have the ability to make a difference to the underlying structure of the skin.
T.C. Bio-LaserTM
What is the T.C. Bio-LaserTM?
The Bio-laser offers Low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT) for a wide scope of skin/body conditions. At Body & Sole we incorporate the T.C. Bio-LaserTM in many skin/body treatments for a wide variety of chronic skin conditions, including acne, eczema, rosacea, post inflammatory and aging skin. It is also used to assist healing post operative and for accelerating healing for scars. It is also used for Cellulite reduction and pre-massage.
How does it work?
The T.C. Bio-LaserTM uses non-thermal low intensity laser therapy, which is incapable of causing damage to surrounding skin and tissue. Multiple frequencies of light are delivered through the skin and converted by our cells into vital celluar energy (ATP) which is necessary for regeneration and repair. It is used in our clinic for healing acne, scar and stretchmarks repair, cellulite reduction by increased lymphatic drainage; pre-massage to detoxify, collagen regeneration and facial lifting and for inflammed skin conditions.
SunFX Tanning
Before Tanning
Exfoliate your body before the application by using a gentle mitt loofer and/or a body exfoliator, such as Dermalogica Body Exfoliant. Pay particular attention to Pay attention to rough skin areas like knees, elbows, ankles and the tops of your feet.
Do not apply moisturiser to your skin at this stage as doing this will reduce the final result. We also recommend that you don't wear any make-up. Wear attire suitable for tanning: we suggest a bikini for women and dark shorts or swimmers for men.
After Tanning
Once your tan is applied, you must allow it to dry completely. We will ensure that your application is dry before you leave, but as a precaution, do not wet your skin for at least 5 hours after the tanning session. Showering the following morning is the best option.
We also recommend that you do not excercise or perspire excessively between the tanning and the showering phase. When showering don't be concerned if some of the initial bronzer washes off - this is part of the SunFX tanning process, and your skin will continue to tan.
Apply moisturiser twice daily after showering. This reduces the rate at which your skin exfoliates and will keep your tan looking better for longer. We recommend SunFX Tan Extender, which we have proven extends the life of the tan.
Other considerations in maintaining your tan are to avoid long baths, hot spas and extended swimming sessions. Shorter sessions are preferable. Also avoid products designed to exfoliate your skin.
Le Stone Therapy
Le Stone Therapy is an ancient cultural therapy dating back thousands of years, used by American Indians as well as Tibetan Monks. Used for a number of purposes, ranging from grounding to achieving deeper levels of relaxation as well as for healing processes, this therapy incorporates the use of massage as well as warmed or chilled stones. As the massage and stones work in harmony the body is relaxed at its deepest level using the gentle transformational properties of mineral and semi-precious stones.
